BRIT HUME "WHERE'S THE OIL?"

I've been watching the sad situation in the gulf, and this video makes it even more tragic.  You have to see it for yourself.  I'm completely at a loss for words.  Any Brit Hume followers out there want to comment as to why you like this guy?  I'm honestly very curious.

Sounds like he has been listening to Rush Limbaugh. Both bumbling idiots.

Gary, that was from MAY 16.  Quite a bit has changed.   You should have checked the date.

Why don't you get on Obama - who looks like an idiot....

Obama on said on MAY 27 "The American people should know that from the moment this disaster began, the federal government has been in charge of the response effort." and "But make no mistake: BP is operating at our direction. Every key decision and action they take must be approved by us in advance."

In retrospect, Brit Hume's comments seem laughably uniformed, but they were made very shortly after the first reports of the disaster and long before the staggering images that are now common on the evening news. Conversely, his skepticism in well warranted. In recent years our government has made a habit of making mountains out of molehills whenever a problem arises. Does anyone remember Y2K and the billions spent preparing for it? What about the more recent H1N1 Virus and the millions of lives supposedly at risk? Each time one of these apparent disasters looms large the government quickly passes "emergency legislation" as a preventative measure often with billions of dollars in pork attached. I have no desire to carry water for Mr. Hume or the Fox Network, but in light of our current political climate a healthy dose of questioning is appropriate.
