| | I SIGNED 2,000 BOOKS IN TWO DAYS
I reserved the hardbound rights for A/M. This was a deal I made with my publisher that is unusual because typically the hardbound comes out first and then the book is released in paperback. I kept the hardbound rights so that the books coming directly from us would be different than what you could get in the store. And they'll be signed. The hardbounds are in the Wisconsin warehouse, and won't be released until after the paperback pub date, which I believe is October 8th. I'm really immersed in my next book project, so it is weird to be seeing the wheels turn on book one. I never thought I'd be a wedding photographer. I never thought I would operate a distribution warehouse. I never thought I would be in the plastics business. I never thought I'd be an author. And none of these were ever a goal. That's why a big message in my book is the repulsive power of goal planning. Whenever I planned on a goal, I failed, and when I failed, I was thankful that something else came along to divert me! |
