@Bruce_MacNeil - Ive spent too much of my precious time today on this subject. Ive got a huge wedding album I need to complete. By the way, a wedding that was held in Do I dare say ...A CHURCH! A Wedding that paid my bills that month. A wedding that brought a tear to my husbands eye more than once. A wedding that was so moving and touching and special. And then the pastor said the words "What God hath joined together, let no one put assunder."

Wow, why didnt they just go down to the Courthouse in their shorts and cut offs and get the Justice of the Peace do it and pay their $26.00 and walk out and go break some commandments.    If you are a wedding photographer and you go into a church to shoot a wedding, then I think you are a hypocrite, and you should change your occupation. If you dont believe in God, then why do you do weddings? Honestly, its so hypocritical!  You should not even be in a church in my opinion if you believe that way! 

I shot over 500 weddings in 14 years and get chocked up over the beauty and magic and peace at every church wedding. I love the scripture of  Corinthians 13:4. Were your parents married in a church? Marriage is a  religious ceremoney, sanctioned by God, spoken of it by Jesus. For a man shall leave his mother and father and cleave unto his wife, and for what God has joined together let no man put assunder.  Its a sacred thing. Its funny that the same people who PROFIT from weddings , dont even believe in marriage, or God or church. Thats wrong.  When the pastor reads Corinthians I always choke up. Im a mother and a grandmother (Im 45) and Im so grateful to have the faith I have and that my kids have it too. It doesnt consume our lives but we are bible believing Christians.  Marriage is a RELIGIOUS ACTIVITY. The Church sponsors it. Gods word says this. @trebla62 - I havent shot a jewish wedding. I refer them. You dont even know me.  You are trying to put me into a stereotype. I live in Texas and we wear fur here. Im not into Peta. I think outdoor weddings are beautiful. Ive been flown all over the country to shoot outdoor weddings. Arizona (Prescott up in the pines) Orlando Florida. Only thing is its way too hot here to have them outdoors.    So you dont even know me. We arnt all the same. My husband is a hunter (God made man to rule over the beasts)  and a fighter pilot in the US Airforce. You cant peg me, Im not a type. Im not anything like you know.

@SUCHrandomness - Your welcome. Its hard to talk about almost being murdered and leaving your little girl MOTHERLESS. My Ahtiests parents caused me MORE HARM by being Ahtiests than my Christian friends, who loved me, gave me hope, gave me a reason to get out of bed in the morning.  What Gary is trying to say, but no one is listening (Well sojme are,) is that he believes in GOD but RELIGION and the Evanglists who say SEND MONEY! is what he doesnt like. One of them is Christians Bob and Dawn Davis, who photographed Eva Longorias wedding and are very successful Christian Photographers in the Chicago area. I admire them and respect them and they are God fearing successful people. As are many others, who wont stand up for God on this Blog. I would love it if anyone who is a believer of GOD would say so on here. Just make a POst that says I BELEIVE IN GOD. and thats it. Id love to get a count of them.  Remember that  "He who kneels before God can stand before anyone!"

An athiest was taking a walk through the valley of shadow of death woods. My, what majestic trees! What beautiful animals! What powerful rivers! He said to himself.

As he was walking alongside a powerful river he heard a loud rustling in the bushes behind him. He turned to look. He saw a seven foot grizzly bear charge toward him.

He ran as fast as he could up the path. He looked back and saw the bear was closing. He looked again. The bear was even closer. In fear mode his legs failed; he tripped and fell on the ground. He rolled over to pick himself up, but the bear was now on top of him, reaching for him with his left paw and raising his right paw to strike him.

The athiest cried out: OH MY GOD! Immediately time stopped, the bear froze, the forest and river went silent. A bright light shone on the athiest, and a voice came out of the sky: "You deny my existence all these years, teach others I don't exist, even credit what I created and made to cosmic accident. And now you cry out to me, expect me to help you out of this predicament? Am I to now count you as a believer?"

The athiest looked into the bright light and said: "It would be hypocritical of me to suddenly ask you to treat me as a Christian believer now, but perhaps you could grant me a wish: make the bear a Christian instead". "Very well", said the skyward voice. The bright light went out. The sounds of the forest and river resumed.

@garyfong1 - Thank you for saying it Gary. It is so true. I'm fortunate to have a pastor that has never made that comment and does work to a greater good (good pastors do exist) but I do see pastors (who drive a lexus) demanding money from people who drove to church in EXTREMELY modest cars that need the money they're giving. The pastors are not asking but demanding, making anyone who doesn't give feel their salvation is at risk for not giving everything. Makes no sense to me.

As far as the "haters" don't feel discouraged, my studio will always support your products as they are superior and if it wasn't for your video, I would've given up on my studio last year. So, if you accept this, I wish you an extremely prosperous 09' filled with good health, strong marriage, great business, and a bottomless well of ideas and opinions for this blog.
