internet but back online!
Here in Greece there was a telecom strike, so we were out of internet for over a day. This is the first time I've been off the web for over a day in about, oh, since the 80's. It actually was kind of therapeutic, because I chowed through two books - excellent books. If I have time I'll talk about them later. (click on any image to see all)
 
It's probably in the 90's here, and we are on a cliff overlooking the caldera of Santorini. I've been here before, about five years ago and it has and hasn't changed a lot. There is a lot of building, but they keep the same character of the white domes and arches, and vibrant blue paint to match the spectacular water.
What is most amazing is the visibility. The northern tip of the island, Oia, is about 25km away, and it looks so close because the visibility is so clear.
