| | sunset. 10pm. Champs Elysses In summer, the sun sets very late which is awesome. It's not at 10pm, but it does stay light out that late, and tonight we had a beautiful purple sunset at the Arc d'Triomphe. It was a great opportunity for fantastic photographs.
One of my favorite angles of the Eiffel Tower is to shoot "up the skirt". It is very dizzying finding the exact center of the bottom walking around and looking up, but when you do find it, especially at night, you get a beautiful "cross". I wonder if it is a sign?
I don't know how our magical concierge did it, but he got us tickets to the restaurant, "Jules Verne". It is normally a 3 month waiting list during the summer, but there was a cancellation. We didn't even think to ask but we got it. Tomorrow night we take a "Segway" tour, which will be awesome! |
