 This murky photo was taken outside of the LA Superior Court of two remarkable (and also funny) men. On the left is Casey Olsen, and on the right is Ed Schwartz. They are both my attorneys but more than that, my friends.
Seeing them together was interesting, because they had both known of each other for quite a while but had only spoken on the phone. Casey read about Ed in my book, "Snaps" and Ed had heard a lot about Casey since I work with Ed a lot on patent litigation matters. This was the first time they met, and it was about time.
I am writing an article for Vanity Fair Magazine, and this is the only photo I have of the two of them. Casey is a black belt jiu jitsu master who studied under the gracie brothers. He is so funny for being a tough guy.
One time when I was telling Casey a funny story - he got up out of his office chair, went to the wall and started banging his head against it - hard!
I am sure I am very frustrating to Casey at times. He will look at my wife with this scowl, and Melissa will say, "welcome to my life!"
