| | phase one, uneventful!
Melissa hadn't been on such a long flight before, so she was so hilarious getting ready for it. She brought the whole six season DVD set of "Sex and the City" and we got those airplane power adapters for the laptops. But the flight was so comfortable. Continental Airlines is our fav. airline now, (and has been for a while because of all the new planes) and by far the 777 is the most awesome jet anywhere.
She couldn't get used to the cool reclining seats, and the video player, and the controls for the seats, and the little reading light on the gooseneck. So as she was getting all twisted up working the complicated seat, I looked at the flight attendant and said, "I normally make her fly in the back". We all laughed so hard.
We got here to Paris and it's fun introducing her to my adopted country. I am in France a lot, and speak french, so she has been hanging on to me with her head in my armpit. She said, "if we get separated, how would I find my way?" HAHA
