so hard to find this book
Yesterday I had to drive all over Los Angeles to find the book, "What Happened".  It is sold out everywhere.  I bought it for my plane ride to NYC and it is not the hatchet job that I thought it would be.  In fact, he is pretty complimentary to President Bush.
There were only two copies in a far away location.  The guy at the store said the warehouse is sold out, and that the only place you could find the book right now is in the midwest.  I thought that was funny.

But he drops some absolute bombs that give me the feeling that this is going to be something big.  Most notably, he describes the President's knowledge into outing a CIA agent's identity - plus - the campaign to go to war with Iraq - how the President knew that the "yellowcake" document was a forgery, and how he wanted that to go out in the campaign for the justification for war.
If McLellan testifies before congress, like he said he would - holy smokes.

If you can believe him.  From all indications this is just another propaganda toy against the president.  If all this were true he would have come out with it as soon as he left the white house...he needed time to manufacture all this, that is what it was..right?

1. He's pissed because the President didn't support his mother when she ran for governor here in Texas.

2. Someone told him he could make money. As all the pundits are saying, why didn't he say anything at the time, or resign in protest?

Republicans have such a hard time even conceiving that good ol'e W could do such a thing. That would, of course, confirm that they voted for a loser. They are about to back another lame candidate in McLame - oops sorry for the typo McCain.

Yeah... those are the weakest rationalizations for defending a lying president I have ever read.

Give it up goopers, Bush lied, people died.

IF it can be PROVEN that Bush lied then it is criminal and should be treated as such. In that event I fear that the next President, regardless of who it is, would grant a pardon and in the event of intentional lying that would be a shame.

Is Scott telling the truth? I don't know, but if he is then I can't have any respect at all for him now after the fact. How long did he support the lies with his own words to the press? If he is telling the truth then he, Ari Fleischer and Bush knew from nearly the start that the words were lies.

Bush lied? Prosecute him. That would mean that Scott lied as well. Same deal.

Two things:

1) It turns out that George Soros got to Scott as Scott's book came from one of Soro's operatrions and was "edited" by one of Soro's henchmen.

2) as for Bush lying, See Washington Post: "'Bush Lied' Story Line Phony" at http://directorblue.blogspot.com/2008/06/washington-post-bush-lied-story-line.html .  I wonder when the rest of the media will catch up. Wishful thinking, I guess.
