| | YESTERDAY...
I took my first-ever 'day' trip to Big White ski resort. Normally, we stay overnight at our apartment in the village, but since Lauren, Adam and their friends were all up at the mountain, and the conditions were the best-ever, I decided to drive up in my FJ.
It took all of 45 minutes, and I forgot how close we are to this world-famous ski resort. We normally think it's a big huck, and we pack up a box of groceries, etc. to go stay there. The photo on the top left is the view from our place - we can see out the window straight up the run, but people can't see in because of the reflective glass. Top center is me fixing a pothole in the road using chipped rocks. Lauren thought it was so funny that I was doing that so she took a picture haha.
I've never skiied with Lauren before, and I didn't get to do much because I forgot my pass at the apartment and had to ski back to the village to put it on, but by that time it was lunch time and when I was done the lifts closed. |
