It reminds me of an Olympic torch being carried by a runner. I like it much better than the yin-yang/leaves in the green page. The green is nice (although I would desaturate it a bit). I love the combination of reds and chrome/nickel in this one.

Congratulations on your wedding! I neglected to chime in previously.

in general, i like it. i like how the g component is silver, and the f components are orange. i like it better than the green logo, because this one is more identified with you.

it's a little confusing though...the g is in 3d, so it would seem more natural for the two red strokes indicating the f to also be 3d. right now they clash.

also, the angles of the "g" and the "f" conflict. the g is pointing upwards to the right like it's about to take off into the sky, which is cool, but the f is leaning forward like it's going to speed off to the right.

the type is too large, it takes attention away from the logo. also, i'm tired of fading reflections. this fade drops off precipitously, hinting that there's a huge abyss, distance between the viewer and the logo/logotype.

finally, the reflections of the y and g are really annoying. their horizons don't match the horizon of the rest of the letters.

I like this concept, but if you are really liking the "green" thing, then what about changing out the orange/red for some green?????

Love the font type. Lose the refelctions. Not sure about the G in 3D and the flame not but it might grow on me. The G does need to be a bit smaller though as it does not balance well with the size of the font. Bear in mind though in the UK with have different ideas on design, so what might work for us might not for you. Love the colours as well.

Hey Gary, why do you feel the need for a logo? Just go with the name. Its all about the name anyway.

Dude! This is nice! I like it better than the green approach too, as there are a couple of other photographers in the industry who are sporting green pretty hard core... Really like this!

Very nice logo, for sure. What does it represent to people who don't know you? Besides your name, what does it represent/sell?

Nice design. I like it.

As evident by all the different opinons, visual arts (or just playing art) is subjective and there will be as many different opinions as there are colors in the spectrum.

Printing would be difficult.. I always recommend to my clients to get an illustrated (vector) logo.

Reminds me of a Harley Davidson.

It's definitely an improvement over the previous attempt.
