Amy do NOT make fun of me wanting a hug after bowling a gutter-ball. It HURTS!!! I didn't make fun DJ when you bowled strike after strike after strike and you two were ON did I????

LOL, you are right, I should be more sensitive to you, but DJ is on his own. I'll never forget at the end he wouldn't even give me a high-five. He was crying like a baby and then he started to eat and drink away his sorrow. Oh, and DJ, don't even think about saying "I was thinking of others".

We've found something that Gary Can't do well! LOL! Maybe if we attach a 70-200mm VR lens as a scope for ya Gary you could eyeball a strike. Those girls blew you away. Make us proud and keep practicing until you start throwing strikes!!!

Read some bowling books.... then when the next time you go, you'll surprise them all.  It's more of a mental game too...

If bowling is the only thing you're bad at, welllllllll I'd REALLY be worried about it! I bet Bill Gates, JD Rockefeller, and a few other men that come to mind, probably aren't very good either!

Only men with big beer guts can bowl.  I think it has something to do with balance. 

Sherry, Amy doesn't have a beer gut and she can bowl. DJ doesn't have a beer gut maybe that's why Amy creamed him.

I'm still feeling the joy and contentment from allowing somebody else to win. It's amazing how rewarding that small sacrifice has been for me and I look forward to letting others win sometimes in the future.

Just pick one of those little arrows part-way down the lane and aim for that. Forget the pins to begin with. I recommend the second arrow from the right. Put the ball right over that sucker. Make sure your feet start out on the same dot each time too, you must establish some standards first! From here adjust yourself so you start hitting into the side of the head pin. If you are throwing it over the mark and the ball hits too far to the right, then move your feet a few boards to the right next shot, and you will shoot more to the left (assuming you put the ball over the mark you chose)


It's not too bad, you just have to be disciplined to reset to the proper standards you have set and throw the ball consistently each time!

There were a lot of pins. It wasn't easy knocking them all down but I did once on my first night bowling so there NYEAH.

I second Otto's recommendations.  Use the dots (or arrows in your case) as a guide.  Forget about the pins... use the dots!

That is pretty good to get a strike on your first night out. I think it took me 7 or 8 games before I got a strike. It was really exciting too because it was on my 11th birthday.
